Hope ALIVE
Hope ALIVE serves hundreds of Brownsville area families each year by providing food, resources, and encouragement in a safe, welcoming environment. This year's community event takes place July 19–25, 2026, in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley. This family-friendly event brings neighbors together through free meals, live music, children’s activities and crafts and a large school backpack giveaway with supplies for local students. This event is both community-based and faith-based where we demonstrate what the love of Jesus is all about.
Who are we?
At Hope ALIVE, we aim to bring local communities together in Brownsville, TX, to support those in need. Through providing meals, distributing school supplies, and creating a welcoming environment, we offer assistance and hope to families, emphasizing our shared humanity and compassion.
The Event
Meal Provision
We distribute meals and food boxes for families who may otherwise go without.
School Backpacks
Educational essentials such as backpacks and supplies are provided to children in need.
Family focused
We establish a safe and welcoming setting as a reminder that you are seen, valued, and loved.
